The Texas Union will stay open for voting until 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, the final two days of early voting before Tuesday’s midterm election.

The Union will be open from 7 a.m to 10 p.m. and is one of seven Travis County polling sites with extended hours for the rest of early voting, according to Travis County. All other sites still close at 7 p.m.

Early voting ends this Friday, meaning students will not be able to vote over the weekend or on Monday. Students registered to vote in another Texas county might qualify for a limited ballot, meaning they would be able to vote in Travis County instead of their home county. A person voting with a limited ballot can vote in statewide elections and elections that would be voted on in both their home county and the county they choose to vote in.

Students can only cast a limited ballot in person during the early voting period, meaning that students will be unable to cast a limited ballot on Election Day.

The limited ballot can only be cast at the Travis County Clerk’s Office, located at 5501 Airport Blvd, Austin TX 78751. The office is also open from 7 a.m to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Voters must bring an acceptable photo ID and may bring notes or a sample ballot when they vote. On Election Day, they must vote in the county where they are registered during regular voting hours.
